GeN2Mo Some really great melodic Alternative Metal that benefits greatly from its enhanced low end both in energy and interplay between calm vocal melodies and deep growling grooves. Favorite track: Trouble.

about

V2.0 Remixed version available now!

Guitarist, singer and producer Jon Symons brings to you 'The Jon Symons Project'.
In September 2014 Jon started the writing and recording of his new album 'Escape The Hollow'.
Let Jon explain in his own words how the album came to fruition:

'Next to my band Raptor I needed an outlet for some musical ideas I had in my head.
Everything is written and played on an 8-string guitar giving the guitar sounds and parts a unique timbre.
This really helped in giving the whole project a style and direction.
It didn't take very long for the whole thing to come together because there was a lot of inspiration.

Lyrically the album goes quite deep and touches on some subjects that are personal and reflect to things that were going on in my life at the time.
I do think that most of the lyrics can be interpreted individually and viewed in a broader sense.
There are some pretty universal themes going on in there like death, 'demons of life' and escapism that I think people will be able to relate to.

For now this project will remain a studio project meaning there won't be any live shows at this time.
Working in the studio without limiting the arrangements to fit in a live performance allows for creating music that has no boundaries.
I highly recommend listening to this album with your headphones!'

I would like to thank my girl Jet, friends, family for their support and understanding (while I was locked away in my studio), I love you guys! You know who you are!
